Personal Alarm

The personal alarm is a great tool to alert and get attention when it is needed. To activate the personal alarm, turn the device clockwise until the siren sounds. To turn the alarm off, turn the device counterclockwise until the siren no longer sounds.

LED Light

The light accessory is a super bright LED light which is great for nighttime or low light use. To turn the light on, turn the light device clockwise until the light illuminates. To turn the light off, turn the device counter clockwise until the light turns off.

Batteries

The Personal Alarm and LED Light require two CR2032 button batteries to operate. Unscrew the siren or light device, insert two CR2032 button batteries with the positive side ( + ) facing out. Batteries are included; replacement batteries can be found where batteries are sold.

Removable Handle Cap

The area inside the handle cap is the perfect storage space for a house key, emergency medication and information or lipstick. To remove, grasp the bright orange or black rubber cap and pull it off. Place the item(s) inside and replace the end cap on the handle.

Convenient Hand Strap

The Convenient Hand Strap is very useful to hang the Giddy-Up stick from the back of a chair, a coat rack or where it is easily accessible. The adjustable hand strap is made out of durable canvas and is it attached to the cane through a key ring.

Offset Foam Grip Handles

The Offset Foam Grip Handles of the cane have been designed by an orthopaedic surgeon to provide maximum comfort and support. Red end cap sold separately.

Re-adjusting the Pivoting Arm

The pivoting arm has been pre-adjusted to provide maximum lift assist to the majority of users. If necessary, the handles may be positioned closer together. This is done by loosening the locking nut beneath the lower handle. Slide the handle up to the desired position and securely replace the locking nut.

Locking Ring

To adjust the height of the cane, loosen the locking ring, depress the button, and slide the cane to the desired height. Turn the locking ring clockwise to tighten.

Durable Nonskid Rubber Tip

The Durable Nonskid Rubber Tip is made to “grip” ice and wet conditions to help keep you from slipping. Always be sure the tip on your cane is in good shape. Check the tip often and replace it if it looks worn to prevent any unforeseen accidents.
