Q: How do I adjust the bottom handle height?
|
A: The bottom pivoting handle has been pre-adjusted to the furthest apart position which works for the vast majority of users. If you feel the handles should be closer together for you, loosen the bottom nut and bot that pass through the bottom locking ring. The locking ring and handle can then be slid up to the desired position and replaced by securely tightening the nut and bolt.

Q: How do I know if I am strong enough to use the Giddy-Up Stick?
|
A: Most of the functionality of the Giddy-up Stick arises from its use of leverage to allow its user to rise. However, a certain amount of upper body strength is required. An easy test to see if you have the requisite strength can be performed using two stationary chairs.
Place the seat of one chair facing the back of the other chair. Simultaneously push up on the seat of one chair and the back rest of the opposing chair. Although not as ergonomic as the Giddy-up Stick, this test will allow you to gauge your strength.
